HDR Alaska, Inc. is conducting the Hillside Area Transportation Study. Specific topics to be addressed include: the road system, trails and sidewalks, transit and emergency access. The work team wil collect information on the Hillside's existing transportation system and its existing and projected use. As the Hillside continues to grow, road and trail connectivity improvements will be needed. Congested, unsafe intersections will need to be improved, and improvements to sidewalk and trails will need to be made. Transit options will be evaluated and emergency access improvements will be analyzed.
