The work team collected existing data and previous studies, then identified use, issues and constraints. They summarized these results, as well as public input and review, which informed an evaluation of alternatives and their costs. Specific topics to be addressed include: preservation of Hillside lifestyles, determining the best fit of appropriate technology, and protection of private and public interests. This portion of the Hillside District Plan updates the 1982 Hillside Wastewater Management Plan, and context-sensitive solutions will be implemented.
