Agnew::Beck, along with Tamás Deák of kpb architects will be writing the Land Use portion of the Hillside District Plan. Specific topics to be addressed include: How to maintain Hillside character while accommodating growth targeted by Anchorage 2020? How to integrate plans for public services, such as parks, open space, schools and fire?
The work team will collect and synthesize objective information (on slopes, soils, drainage, traffic, etc.). They will build from Anchorage 2020 and public opinion to prepare and evaluate land use alternatives. Implementation plans will follow from the preferred land use alternative.
