Public Participation

There are many ways to stay informed and participate in this planning process. In addition to this website, these include:

Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) – regular Citizen Advisory Committee meetings will occur throughout this planning process. The CAC has been selected by the Municipality from a wide array of residents who volunteered their time to act as a sounding board and review body (see the CAC Member List (83KB)). The public is welcome to attend all CAC meetings.
Household Survey – to be done in early 2007 as part of this project, to capture a representative sample of public views on key plan issues.
E-mail contact list – of all parties with an interest in the project, so we can easily distribute regular plan updates and links to draft products. Add your name to our email list and view past Hillside District Plan eNewsletters here.

Past Public Input - for example, records of previous workshops and public testimony.
Public Workshops - three sets of public workshops will start with an issues scoping workshop in Spring 2007.
